Southern Michigan Furniture Distribution and Delivery is essentially a 3PL for furniture suppliers and also a white glove service for furniture stores. Our goal is to receive shipments on behalf of furniture stores who do not have warehouse space or the manpower to unload the trucks as they come in. After we receive the trucks, we set up a route so that every store receives their delivery on the same day and same time every week, delivered on a lift gate truck and brought in. Additionally, we provide both a pickup point for customers to come get their furniture on their own time, or a white glove delivery service on behalf of the store. For suppliers, we are a central receiving point for dedicated routes to our delivery area. No more waiting until 10 for a store to open, or backing a 53' truck down an alley to drop off an Armoire, relying on the store sales clerk to unload. One piece, or 1000, we can accommodate receiving and delivering to a home, or setting up student housing and long term care facilities.
